The EHAB platform automates construction contracts, streamlining admin for contractors and reducing disputes across the project supply chain.

Contracts are the glue that hold the industry together. Our mission is to automate and streamline contract management to increase construction productivity and collaboration.

The platform mimics the standard contract management procedures currently completed by humans.  Relevant information comes from IoT devices and other inputs onsite, it is consumed by the system and automatic triggers streamline the contract’s administration.

Currently this admin costs contractors ~£5Bn a year and the disputes arising from poor contract management costs a further £1.2Bn (in the UK)

Our first automated clause deals with weather related events. We collect weather data from IoT devices, the MET office and other open source weather data, we track if this has breached the contract clauses and when it does we trigger the compensation procedures.

This niche costs the UK only £300-600Mn a year, but it’s the clause we feel is easiest to use as a proof point, helping us gain a foothold in the market.

Our vision is to completely automate the contract, which would place our system as the central piece of data processing technology in a sector getting ready for massive digital disruption.

There is also scope for the same system to be deployed for construction insurance too, adding a further £30Bn market we could grow into.
